Marriage Family Therapist
Ellen Shmunis is an Associate Marriage Family Therapist and has her Masters in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) from the University of San Francisco. She focuses on developing a warm and contained relationship and then tailors a therapeutic approach specific to the client. Approaches she draws from are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strength Based, Somatic, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Solution Focused Therapy. Ellen has experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults who struggle with family problems, communication skills, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, work/life balance, and relationship issues. In her spare time, Ellen likes to do Pilates and tends to her metropolitan garden.
