Gain insight about and practice living a life in recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse issues in a supportive, upbeat group grounded in intrapersonal exploration, mindfulness and a consensus communication style.

When:  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00-11:20am

Recovery Skills Practice

Positive individual growth requires participation in a larger life with others. The group works to develop an understanding of others, caring communication skills, and the steps that can lead to positive growth and new life skills. Group members are challenged to:

  1. Deepen self-awareness
  2. Better communicate and improve relationships
  3. Create structure for daily, short-range and long-range commitments
  4. Define and create a path toward goal achievement
  5. Develop effective and creative life skills
  6. Attend school, hold a job and identify the next step
