Spiritual Director Specializing in Recovery and Transformation
Jacqueline Perlmutter is a spiritual director, an experienced international brand manager, journalist and educator. Jacqueline works with organizations and communities that address dependency recovery, transformation, eating disorders and family recovery. A graduate of San Francisco State University and Mercy Center’s Spiritual Direction Institute, she utilizes an addiction recovery model based on spiritual principles integrated with coping skills informed by mindfulness, REBT, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing and trauma transformation. Jacqueline is a trained group facilitator for Seeking Safety™ trauma recovery groups, SMART Recovery™ and Centering Meditation™.
Jacqueline serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profits Ohlhoff Recovery Programs in San Francisco and WAAT, Women’s Association for Addiction Treatment. She is a member of Marin County's Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol. She is a founding staff member of Olympia House dual-diagnosis treatment in Petaluma, CA and has implemented spiritual care programs and groups for addiction treatment programs throughout California.
