Sara Drotman, PsyD, is our Director of Training and Education and a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatments for trauma, depression, and anxiety. Dr. Drotman’s approach to psychotherapy is grounded in a strong belief that individuals have the ability to recover from trauma, addiction, and mental health conditions. With a commitment to culturally sensitive and patient-directed care, Dr. Drotman uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help her patients achieve their goals for mental wellness.

Dr. Drotman completed her degree at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York, where she worked with diverse populations of patients in hospitals and clinics throughout the city. She then completed her pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency in the Veteran’s Affairs medical system in Pennsylvania, where she further specialized in treatments for PTSD (including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure) and substance use disorders.
