Annie Don is a licensed marriage and family therapist at the Mind Therapy Clinic. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, Davis, and studied counseling psychology at the University of San Francisco. Annie finished her master’s in marriage and family therapy in 2020 and has since worked at a 24-hour mental health crisis stabilization unit in San Francisco. She has worked with individuals and families experiencing a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial conflict. Annie is passionate about working with clients facing adversity to find effective and meaningful solutions to life’s obstacles. She believes in the beauty of integrating multiple modalities and therapies to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs.

Annie is especially inspired by strengths-based, humanistic, and existential treatment approaches. She believes in working with patients to create a safe, trusting, and authentic environment to foster self-growth and aid in long-lasting healing. Similar to Dr. Irvin Yalom’s teachings, Annie views herself and her patients as “fellow travelers” navigating through life’s unpredictable unfoldings and striving to find meaning in the human condition.
